TUTTO PASSA

ALL PASSES

Tutto passa ”, said the unpretentious tattoo on the chest of an Italian gentleman, clearly without a filter , one of those who have already lived a lot.
I saw the photo by chance, but it crossed my mind.

The filter, because we live our lives hiding our true emotions.

How many times have we been where we didn't want to be, spoken to people we didn't want to be with, smiled when our hearts were crying...

It stayed with me like a whispered prayer, like a calm reminder of life.
And now, at 51, I understand.

Everything will calm down.
The pains that seemed eternal, pass.
The joys that seemed inexhaustible also pass.
And time—oh, time—it is both kind and unforgiving.
He takes, but he also teaches.

We spend our lives trying to control what cannot be contained.
We want to hold the moment, stop the clock, freeze the beauty, avoid loss.
But living is, above all, letting go.
Let go of fear.
Release the stiffness.
Release the script.

After 50, everything becomes clearer: you can't live stuck.
You can't demand perfection from your body, your home, or your life.
We need to learn to dance with impermanence.
To be light.
To be alive.

And in this Unstoppable lifestyle, what really stays is what flows.
The freedom to be who you are.
The courage to change whatever is necessary.
And the wisdom of accepting what you cannot control.

So breathe.
Look at the sky.
Let the coffee cool down a little.
Love without so much haste.
Make peace with the mirror.

Just because…
Everything passes.

And this — far from being a lament — is an invitation to live more beautifully.
