Our lives can get very complicated sometimes, and that's natural. But life should be fun, and easier too. I believe that we can't fake when we are upset or worried, and we shouldn't. But trying to get out of the comfort zone can sometimes be very helpful to lighten up our days.

Here are some habits that can help in your mood:

- Avoid Processed Foods.

Although we get “happy,” while we are eating them, afterwards it can be very easy for us to change our mood. We tend to stress, and eat more than normal.

- Be Surrounded by People who Want to See You Happy.

I know you might think “But am I not already surrounded by my friends?” Maybe you are, and people want to see you happy, but they don't want to see you happier than them :) Some people around us will be happy for us, but unfortunately it's common to sometimes be surrounded by toxic people. So be careful.

- Make a “Healthy Joke,” of Yourself.

I am not saying for you to say bad things about you, but other than sometimes laugh at your mistakes. Timothée Chalamet (actor), has a good sense of humor, and many times, cameras caught him either laughing at himself when making a mistake, or just not too worried about it. Juan Zurita (vloger), is someone who is always laughing, talking to people, and making “healthy” jokes.

- Take a Break.

When you take a break, you stress less and allow yourself to relax your mind, body, and focus. This may be good if you are always stressed about work.

- Get Out of Your Comfort Zone.

Do something new every month if you can. Go to a different place, hang out with your friends more often, do something that challenges you to think beyond the box!

If you still identify excess of anger, sadness, stress, or any kind of other symptoms, talk to your healthcare professionals.
