Hepatitis A-

Hepatitis A, is an example of possible food and water contamination. What is intriguing about hepatitis is that few people remember there's virus related. According to medlineplus.gov “Hepatitis A is caused by the hepatitis A virus. The virus is spread through contact with the feces of an infected person. This can happen if:

-Consume food made by someone who has the virus and did not wash their hands well after using the bathroom;

-Drink contaminated water or eat food that has been rinsed with contaminated water;

-Has close personal contact with someone who has hepatitis A. This can be through certain types of sexual activity (such as oral-anal sex), caring for someone who is sick, or using illegal drugs with other people.”

Hepatitis A is not common in the US, but that does not mean we should forget about it since other countries in Africa, South America, and Middle East struggle with it.

Symptoms very, but usually can be diarrhea, fever, eyes, and skin with a yellow color. You know someone is probably with Hepatitis A, if around the color of their eye is yellow.

Good Practices-

Although covid-19 is still something new to many doctors, and scientists, some people still have the habits to wash their foods and products before consuming them. Even though some people believe it's not necessary, it is never bad to have hygiene. Especially because we don't know if insects and other animals as mice, for example, passed by there. If you've never thought about this, perhaps this may change a little bit your perspective about cleaning. :)

Virus- Living Organism or Not?

    Some people believe virus is a living organism. But most scientists describe as a not living thing since in order to re-produce, they must infect a living organism. In the "language of science," it is wrong to say it is a living organism. Take care of yourself, and the people you care about. Food should be delicious, but we need to be careful with what we consume.
