Some exercises aimed at power work, both with loads and jumps, can create greater intra-abdominal pressure on the pelvic floor, causing “urine leaks”, consequently discomfort and embarrassment.

Urinary Incontinence (UI) can be defined as the complaint of involuntary loss of urine during physical exertion, sneezing or coughing. The cough, which is already quite hyperpressive, generates 91cm H20 of pressure, when compared to jumping on a trampoline, there is a finding that the pressure quadruples, representing 429cm H20 of pressure (Eliasson et al., 2008; Eliasson et al., 2002). The second exercise with the highest average pressure generated according to data from the study by Gephart et al. (2018), is the Push Up, causing something around 100-150cm H20 of pressure.

The pelvic floor is a postural and respiratory muscle, and around 10-20% of women have stress urinary incontinence. This condition is associated with several risk factors, including chronic diseases, hereditary conditions, a high number of births, obstetric trauma, gynecological surgeries, obesity, smoking, intrinsic urethral sphincter deficiency, excessive physical exercise and increased intra-abdominal pressure, which would be represented by a lack of body awareness and knowledge of the physiology of one's own body, with a deficiency in body perception , not being aware that urinary loss is occurring.

Although this condition is seen during the practice of some exercises, it is essential for health and general quality of life, the best strategy is treatment, and physiotherapy gains space as one of the main objectives of treatment, strengthening the muscles of the pelvic floor, as improving the strength and function of this muscle favors a conscious and effective contraction at times of increased intra-abdominal pressure, thus preventing urinary losses. Ideally, the association of the physical educator's work with the physiotherapist with adjustments in the intensity and choice of exercises, in the acute period of the condition, will allow adaptation along with strengthening.

Some exercises aimed at power work, both with loads and with jumps, can create greater intra-abdominal pressure in the pelvic floor, causing "orinal losses", consequently discomfort and vertigo.

Urinary Incontinence (UI) can be defined as the involuntary loss of urine during physical exertion, regardless of sleep. These, which are quite hypertensive, generate 91 cm H20 of pressure, compared to jumping on a trampoline, the pressure is found to double, which represents 429 cm H20 of pressure (Eliasson et al., 2008; Eliasson et al. al., 2002). ). The second exercise with the highest average pressure generated according to the study by Gephart et al. (2018), this is the Push Up, causing about 100-150cm H20 of pressure.

The pelvic floor is a postural and respiratory muscle, and around 10-20% of women present exertional urinary incontinence, this condition is associated with several risk factors, among which are chronic illnesses, hereditary conditions, and high number of births, obstetric injuries, gynecological surgeries, obesity, smoking, intrinsic deficiency of the urethral sphincter, excessive physical exercise and increased intraabdominal pressure, which would be represented by a lack of body awareness and knowledge of the body's own physiology, with the deficiency in body perception, without having the knowledge that there is lost urine.

If this condition is present during the practice of some exercises, it is fundamental for health and quality of life in general, the best strategy is the treatment, and physiotherapy gains space as one of the main objectives of the treatment being the strengthening of the muscles of the pelvic floor, which improves the strength and function of this muscle, favoring a conscious and effective contraction in moments of increased intra-abdominal pressure, thus avoiding urinary leaks. Ideally, the association of the physical educator's work with the physiotherapist with intensity adjustments and exercise selection, in the acute period of the condition, will allow for adaptation along with strengthening.
