Food Sanitation-
When we think about food, we think about taste, texture, and how it feels in our body. We love food, don't we? But it is very important to remember the importance about cleaning well what we eat, so we can prevent diseases. Although it seems to be obvious, many times, people forget to wash their vegetables and fruits well, and may be exposed to future diseases.

Here are a few examples of diseases people may have due to contaminated foods and water.
- Giardiasis;
- Amoebiasis;
- Cryptosporidium;

What is curious about these diseases, it's because many times, they are asymptomatic, which means, people barely realize the symptoms, and take longer to find out they are sick. Diarrhea is a common symptom, for example.
It is very important not only to take care of your health, but also animal and environmental health. Cryptosporidium for example is a kind of disease, that its species can easily infect animals such as cows, pigs, and others which are very found in farms. The issue is when these animals eat their food, but it's contaminated. Consequently, they ingest that food, and can pass it to other animals and the environment until it hits humans. This is why sanitation is essential, not only for us, but also for our animals and the place we live around us.

The important thing is not to be paranoid, or insecure when learning about, and food sanitation, but rather more conscious and aware of the possibilities. If one knows that there are better ways to make something work, why not do it, if it is healthier and is not causing trouble to anyone? Therefore, clean well the food you prepare! - Wash your vegetables, and fruits well.
