What does 'empower yourself' mean? Well, the definition of 'empowerment' is “The process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one's life and claiming one's rights.” When we talk about self-empowerment, it can be quite complex, can't it? The first thing I would tell you, is that empowering yourself is a process. We go through so many situations in life, that I believe that some of them, can even be one of the factors that shape us in some aspects. Some of them can be for our own good. Others, not really.

When we have low self-steam, anxiety, depression, a weight loss or a weight gain, or even a new habit, for example, these can be things that maybe were caused by these difficult situations. The key is to try to identify them by asking ourselves, “Why am I behaving this way?” “What is making me do this every day?” “How did I end up doing these things?” And always remember: Ask yourself without judgment. If we tend to judge other people, imagine how much deeper inside we judge ourselves?

This is when self-empowerment can make a huge difference in our lives. Self-empowerment could be seen as that friend, or relative of yours, who will be cheering up with you, and for you. Having empowerment basically means accepting that even though you may not yet be the best one at something, you are working hard to be one day, for example. It is about appreciating your small steps, but which made you to stand where you are today, and keep moving forward. It is about believing in yourself, and appreciating your value– not based on others' opinion, rather by your self-love.

Accepting your body, accepting your personality, and accepting who you are, can be parts of self-empowerment. Of course, there is always room for improvement. But remember this: You are enough, and you are capable of doing amazing things. Keep moving forward.

What is self-empowerment? Good, the definition of 'empowerment' is “The process of turning back stronger and safer, especially in the control of one's own life and the claim of one's own rights.” When we talk about self-empowerment, it can be quite complex, right? The first thing I tell you is that empowerment is a process. We go through so many situations in life, that I believe that some of them, could even be one of the factors that shape us in some aspects. Some of them can be for our own good. Others, not really.

When we have low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, lost weight gain, or even a new habit, for example, these can be things that were perhaps caused by these difficult situations. The key is to identify them by asking us: “Why do I behave this way?” “What makes me do this every day?” “How do I finish doing these things?” And always remember: Ask yourself without judging. If we tend to judge other people, imagine how deep down we judge ourselves?

Here is when self-empowerment can make a big difference in our lives. Self-empowerment could be seen as this friend, your priest, who will be encouraging you with you and for you. Having empowerment basically means accepting that, even if you are not the best at something, you are working hard to be someone else, for example. It's about appreciating your little steps, but it makes you happy to be where you are today, and keep going. It's about believing in yourself and appreciating your value, not based on the opinion of others, but for your own love.
